DR. DANA ALTARRAH
Dana K AlTarrah, BSc, MSc, Ph.D., is an Assistant Professor in Child Health at the Social and Behavioral Science in the Faculty of Public Health, Kuwait University. Her current activities involve development and teaching of courses in the area of Social and Behavioral Sciences for the Faculty of Public Health. Dr AlTarrah’s current research focuses on the following areas: childhood obesity, the role of early nutrition in the development of childhood obesity, dietary assessment, nutrition epidemiology using qualitative and quantitative methods in surveillance of non- communicable diseases, and the development of educational interventions to promote a healthier lifestyle for children and prevent the early development of childhood obesity.

DR. NAJLA ALSIRI
Dr. Najla Alsiri, MSc, PhD, ORS, ISB, MCSP, is a distinguished researcher known for her expertise in quantitative research within the medical field. With MSc and PhD degrees earned in the United Kingdom, she has produced over 20 post-doctoral publications, showcasing her dedication to advancing medical knowledge. Currently working at Al Razi Orthopaedic Hospital in Kuwait, Dr. Alsiri has pioneered the first Hypemobility Clinic in the Middle East and conducts intricate three-dimensional motion analyses for orthopedic cases. Her involvement extends to co-founding the Kuwait Orthopedic Research Group (KOR group) and Kuwait Orthopedic Patient Education (KOPE). Her research primarily revolves around connective tissue disorders, kinesiology, and biomechanics, incorporating cutting-edge techniques like diagnostic ultrasonography and sonoelastography. She’s currently spearheading an innovative project for diagnosing connective tissue disorders. Dr. Alsiri’s influence is not limited to research; she’s a sought-after speaker at national and international conferences, and she’s contributed to vital initiatives like the Kuwait National Adaptation Plan, emphasizing her leadership and global collaboration in orthopedics, rehabilitation, public health, and related fields.
